A Thought I had today:
If you look back, ten generations ago, you would find that one person then is an ancestor of many people that live today. That one person gave life to a few people, who in turn gave life to others and so on. Basically ONE person then could be a common ancestor of MILLIONS of us living today. Like a big Pyramid, that widens its base every generation....
But interesting enough, the opposite Pyramid is also true. Each of us living today has two parents, and four grand parents, and eight grand grand parents, etc. If you look twenty generations ago, you will see that every ONE of us today is a combination of more than a MILLION different ancestors that lived then.
I guess that any way you look at it, you will see that we are all One Big Family.
So I want to Welcome you, my Brothers and Sisters to my new BLOG.

Good luck brother with your new blog !
I am happy I have the honour of being the first ever comment on it.
It will definitely be worth something in the future (I think I just started a pyramid of a million comments ;-) ).
Oren, since you are my newly discovered brother, can I please borrow your car?!?!?
A vivid and enlightening introduction to a our new Philosopher: Oren Dobronsky! Lets all raise our glasses for this memorable moment.
Now to the serious stuff, I never thought I would have to challenge you on this area, but seeing that this is my passion I couldn’t resist. Lets get into life mathematics, shall we…
Mathematics is woven inextricably into the fabric of our lives, whether you are building a structure, designing a house, or studying family history. Maths is essential, without it our lives would be almost unimaginably different , for example: did you know that statistics has proven that we are at most 6 million times removed from each and every other human being on earth? But what is maths exactly, does it exist independently of us or is it made by us? And further more what exactly is a brother or a sister if you have 6.6 billion different philosophies? The answer is simple if you have an understanding of your own reality, you will have your own meaning and that is the truth for you…
are you saying that life is a pyramid scheme?
Hey Oren! I totally agree with you in that we are all a big family. I/you have a physicist (University professor) cousin who writes books about how not only all of us, but everything in the universe is connected, and he demonstrates it with huge formulas.
Big hugs and cheers from brother Esteban Dobronsky
You may be interested to know that DNA research points to a single common ancestor for all mankind that lived in Africa between 5,000 and 60,000 years ago.
While this is a pretty large range it is still very surprising that the common ancestor is so recent. It is not that there was a single human on the planet at that time, but that all other human branches (hundreds of thousands of people, probably) didn't make it to 2009.
Who knows Oren, maybe Adam is 5,769 years old...
